COFFEE HUNTERS STORY

In Kona, Hawaii, considering that even at the low elevation of 570m, the temperature differences between day and night are very noticeable, coffee cherries ripen leisurely to produce truly rich coffee beans. Within the renowned Greenwell Farms, the plot “Jenni K” is especially blessed with an ideal environment.
After harvesting, Grand Cru Café is normally has to go through a selection process according to the beans’ size, density and color difference, and it is finally hand sorted before transportation. However, due to higher labor costs in Kona, it can only be completed until the selection by density. Nevertheless, in order to qualify as Grand Cru Café, hand sorting is a mandatory requirement. Since there is no skilled personnel available for hand sorting in Kona, Mi Cafeto sends its staff to the farm annually to complete the hand sorting process. It is a masterpiece produced together with Tommy, the owner of the farm, aiming for the best Kona coffee.

A complex and rich flavor evoking the freshness of citrus and the sweetness of Japanese desserts. The fine and silky mouthfeel embodies the highest quality of Kona coffee. As time passes by, the flavor never fades but the nuance of muscat and lime add a new delight.

A refreshing and juicy acidity, resembling Hassaku orange, turns into a gentle yet rich sweetness with a silky mouthfeel. The sweetness spreads out like ripples in the water while the rustling aroma of fresh young leaves lingers on the palate.

It has the toasty aroma of brown sugar with marshmallow-like sweetness and mouthfeel, and a gentle and joyful acidity. It if a full of softness like a baby’s skin.

The mild flavor of brown sugar and a scent of ginger and white flowers. Citrus acidity. A hint of walnut and macadamia nuts. Strong and yet soft, its elegance is like watching a sunset over a lake.

Aroma of macadamia nuts and intense sweetness. The gentle and fresh acidity of tropical fruits. Full body and an aftertaste with a slight scent of ginger.
